Labrium
A shared workspace for research teams
Projects, tasks, meetings, papers, literature and team knowledge are gathered in one place, so that a research group’s entire workflow runs from a single screen.
Why Labrium?
Most research teams run their work with scattered tools. Tasks sit in a spreadsheet, meeting notes in a document, paper drafts in email and reading lists on someone’s computer.
Labrium connects all of these. A decision made in a meeting becomes a task in one click; the task is linked to its project, and the project to the paper being written. When someone leaves the team, the knowledge does not leave with them; the institutional memory stays in the system.
What it does
Project and task management
Kanban board, Gantt chart, task dependencies and critical path tracking. You can see at any moment which task is delaying the project.
Publication pipeline
Every paper is tracked stage by stage from idea to submission, with version history, author assignments and live co-editing within the team.
Literature and evidence board
Sources are searched, added to reading lists and linked to projects. Findings are sorted into categories on the evidence board. Consensus is integrated for literature searches.
Meetings
Meeting times are set by a shared vote. Decisions are recorded and turned into tasks. In live presentation mode, all participants see the same slide at the same time.
AI assistant
It reads the team’s own documents and papers and answers questions based on them. It summarizes meetings, drafts paper sections and flags project risks early.
Documents and datasets
PDFs and drafts are stored with their projects. A variable dictionary (codebook) is created for each dataset.
Team communication
Announcements, an ideas board, resource sharing, funding call tracking and deadline reminders. Notifications arrive in the app and via Telegram.
Reporting
Periodic performance indicators, workload distribution and publication status are tracked. Reports can be exported as PDF or Excel. With GitHub integration, the code side of software-heavy projects appears on the same board.
Security and roles
Roles include lab director, project lead, researcher, undergraduate student, external advisor and guest. Everyone sees only the projects they are authorized for. New accounts are opened after administrator approval, and every action is logged.
Who it is for
For university labs, research centers, faculty members who supervise thesis groups, and R&D teams. It works smoothly for a group of five and, as the team grows, can manage several units under one roof. The interface is in Turkish and English, with light and dark themes.
